ThelimitedwarrantysetforthbelowisgivenbyCub CadetLLCwithrespectto
newmerchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedinthe
UnitedStatesand/oritsterritoriesand possessions,and by MTDProducts
Limitedwithrespecttonew merchandisepurchasedor leasedandusedin
Canadaand/or itsterritoriesandpossessions(eitherentityrespectively,"Cub
Cadet").
CubCadetwarrantsthis product(excludingits NormalWearParts,Batteries,
andFrameandFrontAxleasdescribedbelow)againstdefectsin materialand
workmanshipfora periodof three(3)yearsorone hundredtwenty(120)oper-
ationhours,whichevercomesfirst,commencingonthedateof originalretail
purchaseor leaseand will,at itsoption,repairor replace,freeofcharge,any
partfoundto be defectivein materialsor workmanship.
NormalWearPartsare warrantedtobefreefromdefectsin materialandwork-
manshipfor a periodofthirty (30)daysfromthe dateof originalpurchaseor
lease.Normalwearparts include,butare not limitedto itemssuchas: belts,
blades,bladeadapters,grassbags,riderdeckwheels,seats,andtires.
Batterieshavea one-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefectsinmaterial
andworkmanship,with100%replacementduringthe firstthree months.After
threemonths,thebatteryreplacementcreditisbasedonthemonthsremaining
inthetwelve(12)monthperioddatingbacktothe originaldate oforiginalsale
or lease.Anyreplacementbatterywill bewarrantedonlyfor the remainderof
theoriginalwarrantyperiod.
Frameand FrontAxle-- CubCadetwarrantstheframe,andfrontcastironpiv-
ot axleagainstdefectsin materialandworkmanshipfora periodof five (5)
yearsor500 hours,whicheveroccursfirst,commencingonthedateoforiginal
purchaseor lease.
Thislimitedwarrantyshallonly applyifthis producthasbeenoperatedand
maintainedinaccordancewiththe Operator'sManualfurnishedwiththe prod-
uct,andhasnot beensubjecttomisuse,abuse,commercialuse,neglect,ac-
cident,impropermaintenance,alteration,vandalism,theft,fire, water,or
damagebecauseofotherperilor naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfromthe
installationoruseof anypart,accessoryorattachmentnotapprovedbyCub
Cadetforusewiththe product(s)coveredbythis manualwillvoid yourwarranty
asto any resultingdamage.Inaddition,CubCadetmaydenywarrantycover-
ageifthe hourmeter,oranypartthereof,is altered,modified,disconnectedor
otherwisetamperedwith.

Withoutlimitingtheforegoing,thislimitedwarrantydoesnot providecoverage
inthe followingcases:
a. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchas lubricants,filters,bladesharpening,
tune-ups,brakeadjustments,clutchadjustments,deckadjustments,and
normaldeteriorationof theexteriorfinish dueto useor exposure.
b. Servicecompletedbysomeoneotherthan anauthorizedservicedealer.
c. CubCadetdoesnotextendanywarrantyforproductssoldor exportedout-
sideoftheUnitedStatesand/orCanada,andtheir respectivepossessions
andterritories,exceptthosesoldthroughCubCadet'sauthorizedchannels
of exportdistribution.
d. Replacementparts and/oraccessoriesthatare notgenuineCubCadet
parts.
e. Transportationchargesandservicecalls.
f. CubCadetdoesnotwarrantthis productforcommercialuse.
Thereare noimpliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No war-
rantiesshall applyafter theapplicable period of expresswritten warranty
above.No other expresswarranties beyond those mentionedabove, giv-
en by any person or entity, including a dealer or retailer,with respect to
any product, shall bind Cub Cadet.The exclusive remedy is repair or re-
placementof the product as set forth above. The terms of this warranty
provide the soleand exclusive remedyarising from the saleand/or lease
of the products coveredhereby.Cub Cadet shall not be liable for any in-
cidental or consequential loss or damage including, without limitation,
expensesincurred forsubstitute or replacementlawncareservices orfor
rental expensesto temporarily replacea warranted product.
Somejurisdictionsdonotallowtheexclusionor limitationof incidentalorcon-
sequentialdamages,or limitationson howlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,so
theaboveexclusionsor limitationsmaynotapplyto you.
In noeventshallrecoveryof anykindbegreaterthan theamountofthepur-
chasepriceoftheproductsold.Alterationofsafetyfeaturesoftheproductshall
voidthiswarranty.Youassumethe riskand liabilityfor loss,damage,or injury
to youandyourpropertyand/orto othersandtheir propertyarisingoutof the
misuseor inabilityto usethe product.
Thislimitedwarrantyshall notextendto anyoneotherthan theoriginal pur-
chaserortothe personfor whomitwas purchasedas agift.
HOWLOCALLAWSRELATETOTHIS WARRANTY:Thislimitedwarranty
givesyouspecificlegalrights,andyou mayalso haveotherrightsthatvaryin
differentjurisdictions.
