Read these instrudions and this manual in its
entirety before you attempt to assemble or
operate your new lawn mower. Your new lawn
mower has been assembled at the factory with
the exception of those parts left unaseambled
for shipping purposes. All parts such as nuts,
washers, bolts, etc., nesesea_y to complete the
assembly have been placed in the parts beg.
To ensure safe and proper operation ofyour
lawn mower, allparts andhardware you
assemble must be tightened securely. Use the
correct tools as necessary to ensure proper
tightness.
TO REMOVE LAWN MOWER FROM
CARTON
• Remove loose parts included with mower.
• Cut down two end comers of carten and lay
end panel down tlat.
• Remove all pacing mate_als except
padding between upper and lower handle
and padding holding operator presence
control bar to upper handie.
• Rolllewn moweroutofcartonand check
cartonthorougly foradd_ionallooseparts.
HOW TO SET UP YOUR LAWN
MOWER
TO UNFOLD HANDLE
IMPORTANT: Unfold handle carefully so as
not to pinch or damage control cables.
• Raise handles untillower handle section
locks intoplace in mowing position.
• Remove protective padding, raise upper
handle section intoplace on lower handle
and tighten both handle knobs.
• Remove handle padding holding operator
presence control barto upper handle.
• Your lawn mower handle can be adjusted
for your mowing comfort. Referto 'Adjust
Handle" in the Service and Adjustment
section of this manual.
