Fortwo (2) years from the date of purchase,if this CraftsmanRidingEquipmentis
maintained,lubricatedand tuned upaccordingto the instructionsin the owner'smanual,
Sears will repair or replacefree of chargeany partsthat are foundto be defectivein
materialor workmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelisted below.Sears will
also providefree laborfor these applicablewarrantedparts for the two full years.During
the first 30 daysof purchase,there will be no chargesto service the productatyour
homefor issuescoveredby this warranty.(See exclusionsbelow). Foryour conve-
nience, IN HOMEwarrantyservicewill still be availableafter the first 30 days of pur-
chase, but a trip chargewill apply.Thischargewill bewaived if the Craftsmanproductis
droppedoff at an authorizedSearslocation.For the nearestauthorizedSears location,

the UnitedStates.
ThisWarrantydoes notcover:
• Expendableitemswhich becomeworn during normaluse,including but notlimitedto
blades,spark plugs,air cleaners,belts,and oil filters.
• StandardMaintenanceServicing,oil changes, or tune-ups.
• Tire replacementor repaircausedby puncturesfrom outsideobjects,such as nails,
thorns, stumps,or glass.
• Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatorabuse,includingbut not limitedto, damage
causedbytowingobjects beyondthe capabilityof the ridingequipment,impacting
objectsthat bendthe frameor crankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
• Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatornegligence,includingbut not limitedto, elec-
trical and mechanicaldamagecaused by improperstorage,failureto usethe proper
gradeand amountof engineoil, failureto keepthe deck clear of flammabledebris,
or failureto maintainthe equipmentaccordingtothe instructionscontainedinthe
owner'smanual.
• Engine(fuel system)cleaningor repairscausedbyfuel determinedto be contami-
natedor oxidized(stale). Ingeneral,fuel shouldbe usedwithin 30 days of its pur-
chasedate.
• Normaldeteriorationand wear of the exteriorfinishes,or product label replacement.
• Ridingequipmentusedfor commercialor rentalpurposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
For ninety(90)daysfrom dateof purchase,if any batteryincludedwith this riding equip-
mentprovesdefectivein materialor workmanshipand our testingdeterminesthe battery
will not holda charge, Searswill replacethe batteryat no charge. Duringthe first 30
days of purchase,there will be no chargesto replacethe batteryat yourHOME. After
the first 30 days,for your convenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservicewill still be avail-
able but a trip chargewill apply. This chargewill bewaived if the Craftsmanproduct is
