abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.
Follow all maintenance procedures as outlined in the Engine Maintenance Sched-
ule below at the specified intervals. In addition, observe the following details:
Before each use: check to make sure the Engine’s oil level is adequate. If neces-
sary, fill the Engine’s Crankcase until the oil level is even with the Oil Fill Hole.
Before each use: with a soft brush, cloth, or vacuum, remove all debris from the
Generator and engine. Then, use a premium quality, lightweight machine oil to
lubricate all moving parts.
After the initial 20 hours of use and every 100 hours of use thereafter: drain
the old Engine oil and replace with approximately 3/4 (0.63) quart of a high quality
SAE 10W-30 grade engine oil.

Storage: Before storing, drain all fuel out of the generator’s gas tank. If this is not
followed, old fuel in the generator’s fuel tank may clog the generator and prevent it
from starting until cleaned out.
