9.4 Moving from the Transport to the Work Position
To revert back to the working position, it is only
necessary to place the flail head firmly on the
ground. Drive the tractor forward sufficiently to
take the weight off the breakaway bar. When the
lock pin can then be raised and turned so that its
head is held against the protruding lug on the

e sure no
bystanders are close by or underneath the wings. Allow ample clearance around the
implement when folding or unfolding the wings. Use extreme caution around buildings or
overhead power lines.

Do not put hands or feet under mower decks. Blade Contact can result
in serious injury or even death. Stay away until all motion has
stopped and the decks are securely blocked up.

Make certain that the Boom swing path is clear of bystanders, powerlines, and obstructions
to prevent injury, electrocution, and possible machine damage. Swing Boom SLOWLY
