SPEAKER OUTPUTS: Twin jack sockets for connection of loudspeaker cabinets. The HCP804 will
deliver 80 watts of output power into a 4 ohm load. Under no circumstances should the total load
seen by the amp fall below 4 ohms. This would result in temporary thermal shutdown, which, after
continued use under these conditions, may impair the long term reliability of the amplifier.
TAPE INPUT: Dual phono, line level input sockets, ideal for connecting a CD player or tape
machine to the amplifier. The level of the signal from the unit connected to the tape input is
determined by the Tape input control on the front panel (11)
TAPE OUT: Dual phono, line level output sockets, ideal for connection to an external recording
device, i.e., DAT player, Mini Disc recorder, Tape machine, etc.
