Followthisprocedureformovingthewheelchairbetweenfloorswhenanelevatorisnot
availableorliftingthewheelchairisnecessary:
NOTE:Whenusingastairwaytomovethewheelchair,seatandanyaccessories,moveall
wheelchaircomponentsawayfromthestairwaypriortoreassembly.
NOTE:Thisprocedureneedstwoassistantstoliftthewheelchairtotransportit.
1. Removetheoccupantfromthewheelchair.
2. Removetheseat.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheSeatAssemblyonpage 37.
3. Removeanyaccessoriesonthewheelchair.
4. Bendyourkneesandkeepyourbackstraight.
5. EnsurethatthecastersareorientedasshowninFIGURE 4.3.
6. Usingtherearandfrontforksashandholdsupports,transferthewheelchairbaseto
desiredlocation.
7. Usingnon‐removable(nondetachable)parts,transfertheseatandanyaccessoriesto
desiredlocation.
8. ReinstallanyaccessoriesthatwereremovedinSTEP3.
9. Reinstalltheseat.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheSeatAssemblyonpage 37.
