positiontooneoftherangeselectpositions;ifthePowerONlightdoesnotswitchONoriftheLow
BatteryLEDdoesswitchON,pleasecheckthebattery.
4.2Connecttheadapter
bananaplugstotheCOMMONandVOLTAGEinputsofamultimeter.The
polarityoftheconnectionshouldbereversedifanegativelightlevelreadingisindicatedonthe
multimeter.
4.3SetthemultimetertothemV(orhigher)DCvoltageposition.Adjusttherangetosuitthe
displayneeds
oftheapplication.Iftheoptionisavailabledonotusethemultimeterauto range
function.
4.4SelectthemaximumrangeontheadapterusingtheRangeSelectSwitchandthenmovelower
inrangeasneeded.
4.5HoldtheLightSensorsothatitfaces(inaperpendicularorientation)thelightsourcetobe
measured.Themultimeterdisplaywill
