1 Needle drop position

■ Sewing Sharp Curves

Stop the machine with the needle in the fabric outside the

appliqué. Raise the presser foot and turn the fabric a little

bit at a time while sewing, for an attractive finish to the

seam.

Note

Placing a lightweight tear away stabilizer beneath stitch-

ing area will improve the stitch placement along the edge

of the appliqué fabric.
