LIMITED WARRANTY
WEED EA TER, a division of Husqvarna Con-
sumer Outdoor Products N.A., Inc., warrants to
the original consumer purchaser that each new
WEED EA TER brand gasoline tool o r attach-
ment is free from defects in material and work-
manship and agrees to repair or replace under
this warranty any defective gasoline product or
attachment as follows f rom the original date of
purchase.
2YEARS--Parts and Labor, when used for
household purposes.
90 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, when used for
commercial, professional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- P arts and Labor , if used for r ental
purposes.
Thiswarrantyisnottransferableanddoesnot
cover damageor liability caused byimproper
handling,impropermaintenanceoralteration,
ortheuse ofaccessories and/orattachments
not specifically recommended by WEED
EATER for this tool. This warranty does not
cover tune--up, spark plugs, filters, starter
ropes, or blower and vacuum tubes that will
wear and require replacement with reason-
ableuseduringthewarrantyperiod.Thiswar-
ranty does not cover pre--delivery setup or
normal adjustments explained in the instruc-
tion manual. This warranty does not cover
transportation costs.
Inthe eventyouhaveaclaimunderthiswarran-
ty,you must return the product to anauthorized
service dealer .

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OB-
LIGATIONS: The U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, California Air Resources
Board, Environment Canada and WEED
EA TER are pleased t o explai n th e e mi ssions
control system warranty on your year 2009 and
later small off--road engine. In California, all
small of f--road engines must be designed, built,
andequ ippedtomee ttheState’s s tringentanti--
smog standards. WEED EATER must w ar-
rant the emission control system on your
small of f--road engine for the periods of time
listed below provided there has been no
abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance of
your small of f--road engine. Your emi s sion
control system includes parts such as the car-
buretor, t he i gnition system and the fuel t ank.
Whereawarrantableconditionexists,WEED
EA TER willrepair your small off--roadengine
at no cost to you. Expenses covered under
warranty include diagnosis, parts and labor .
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY COV-
ERAGE:Ifanyemissionsrelatedpartonyour
engine (as listed under Emissions Control
Warranty P arts L ist) is defective or a defect in
the materi als or workma nship of the eng ine
causes th e failure of such an emission related
part, the part will be repaired or replaced by
WEEDEA TER.OWNER’SWARRANTYRE-
SPONSIBILITIES: As thesmall of f--road en-
gine o wner, you are responsible for the per-
formance of the required m aintenance listed
in your instruction manual. WEED EATER
recommends that you retain all receipts cov-
eringmaintenanceonyoursmalloff--roaden-
gine,butWEEDEATERcannotdenywarran-
tysolelyforthelackofreceiptsorfor yourfail-
ure to ensure the performance of all sched-
uled m aintenance. As the small off--road en-
gine owner, you should beaware thatWEED
EA TER may deny you warranty coverage if
your small off--road engine or a part of it has
