2--cycle synthetic oil into
one gallon of fresh g as.
This engine is certified to operate on unleaded

air-cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at a
ratio of 40:1. Poulan/WEED EA TER brand
synthetic oil is recommended. Mix gasoline and
oil at a ratio of 40:1. A 4 0:1 ratio is obtained by
mixing 3.2fluidounces (95ml)ofoilwith 1gallon

automotive oil or marine o il. These oils will

octane [R+M]/2 clean gasoline.
IMPORTANT
Use of alcohol ble nded fuels (called gasohol or
using ethanol ormethanol) cancausemajor en-
gine performance and durability problems.
WARNING: Alternative fuels (notgas-
oline) such as E--15 (15% alcohol), E--20 (20%
alcohol),E--85 (85%alcohol)areNOTclassified
as gasoline and are NOT approved for use in
2--stroke gasoline engines. Use of alternative
fuels will cause problems such as: i mproper
clutch engagements, overheating, vapor lock,
power loss, lubrication deficiency , deterioration
of fuel l ines, gaskets and internal carburetor
components, etc. Alternative fuels cause high
moisture absorption into the fuel/oil mixture
leading to oil and fuel separation.
