ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Stop the unit and di s-
connect fr om the power source befo re
opening t he vacuum inlet cover. The mo-
tor must b e stopped and the im pell er
blades no longer t ur ni ng t o avoid seri ous
injury from the rotating blades.
WARNING: Ifreceivedassembled ,
ensur e your unit is properly assembl e d
and all f astener s ar e secure.
S A standard screwdri ver is required for
assembl y.
Your blower can also be used as a
vacuum by purchasing an optional
vacuum kit (Model EBVA 1910). Con-
tact your authorized service dealer
for details.
BLOWER TUBE ASSEMBLY
1. Alignthe grooves onthe blowertube
withthegroovesonthebloweroutlet.
2. Pushtheblowertubeontotheblower
outletuntilitsnaps into place (tube is
secured byred tube release button).
3. To remove the blower t ube, press the
tube release button while p ulling on
tube.

SELECT AN EXTENSION CORD
Use only a 120 A.C. voltage supply as
shown on nameplate of the unit to
power your blower.
Theextensioncordusedtoreachthe
power source must be:
D Specifically marked as suitable for out-
dooruse.The cor dmustbemarkedwi th
the suffix “W”.
D Heavy enough to carry full current f rom
the power source to the unit. Otherwise,
loss of power and overheati ng can oc-
cur causing damage to unit. Refer to
table for mi ni mum wir e gauge recom-
mendations. The cor d must be marked
wit htheproperwir egauge.(Appropr i ate
extension c or ds are available.) Do n ot
use multiple cords.
D In good condit i on. Cord i nsulat ion must
be intact wi th no cracks ordeter ioration.
Plug connectors must be undamaged.
DO NOT use mul tipl e cords.

threading the cord through the cord re-
tainer (see illustration). Insert the cord
rece ptacle into the rece ssed p lug.
