LENGTH OFCOVERAGE: T his warranty shall
be for a period of two years from the initial d ate
of pur chase. WHAT IS COVERED: REPAIR
ORREPLACE M E NTOFPARTS .Repair orre-
placement of any warranted par t will be per-
formed at no charge to the owner at an ap-
proved WEED EA TER servicing center. If y ou

RIOD: A ny warranted part which is not sched-
uled for replacement as required mainte-
nance, or which is scheduled only for regu lar
inspectiontotheeffect o f“repairor replaceas
necessary” shall be warranted for 2 years.
Any warranted part which is scheduled forre-
placement a s required maintenance shall be
warranted for the period oftime up to thefirst
scheduled replacement point for that part.
DIAGNOSIS: The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor w hich leads to
the determination thata warranted part is de-
fective i f the diagnostic work is performed at
anapprovedWEEDEA TER se rvicingcenter.
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: WEED
EA TER may be liable for damages to other
enginecomponents causedby thefailure ofa
warranted part still under warranty . WHAT IS
NOT COVERED: All failures caused by

can be grounds for disallowing a warranty

RELATED PARTS: Any WEED EATER ap-
proved replacement part used in the perfor-
mance of anywarranty m aintenanceor repair
on em ission related parts will be provided
without chargetotheownerifthepartisunder
warranty.EMISSION CONTROLWARRAN-
TY PARTSLIST: Carburetor, air filter (covered
up to maintenance schedule), ignition system:
spark plug (covered up to maintenance sched-
ule), ignitionmodule, muf fler including catalyst(if
equipped), fuel tank. MAINTENANCE
STATEMENT: The owner is responsible for
the performance o f all required maintenance
as defined in the instruction manual.
The information on the product label indicates which standard your engine is certified.
Example: (Year) EPA and/or CALIFORNIA.
This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
Moderate (50 hours)
Intermediate (125 hours)
Extended (300 hours)
