STOPPING YOUR UNIT
To stop the unit, move the
ON/OFF
switch to the OFF (0) position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Move the
ON/OFF switch to the ON (I)
position to turn on the unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the blower t ube p r operl y attached
to avoid flying debri s and/or impell er con-
tact which can cause serious injury . Al-
ways we areye p r o t e cti onto preventrocks
or debr is f r om bei ng blown o r ri cocheting
into the eyes and fa ce which can result in
blindness or ser i ous inj ur y.

WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard ob jects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury o r damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:

Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one si de. Al ways wor k
away fr om solid obj e ct s s uch a s wal ks,
lar ge stones, vehicl es, and f ences.
Cl ea n c orners by starti ng in co rners a nd
moving outw ard. Th i s w i ll h el p pr event
an accumulation of deb r is w hich could
fly int o y ou r face.
Be careful when wor king near plants.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maintenance.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have b een s ubject ed to ope r a-
tor abuse or negl i g en ce. To r e ceive f ul l
value from the warranty ,the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this m anual.
Various adjustment s wil l need to be made
periodically to p roperly maintain your unit.

AFTER EACH USE
INSPECTAND CLEAN U NI T& LABELS
Stop unit and unplug extension cord.
S After each use, inspect complete unit
for loose or damaged parts. Clean the
unit using a damp cloth.
S W ipe off unit wit h a clean dry c loth.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use:
S St op u ni t and d i sconnect from the pow-
er so urce.
S Al low mot or t o cool before st or ing or
transporting.
S St ore unit with all gua r ds in pl ace. Posi-
ti on unit so that any sharp o bj ect cannot
accidentall y cause injur y.
S St ore unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of chi l dr en.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepare unit for storage at the end of
the season or if it will not be used for
30 days or more.
If your blower is to be storedfor a period
of time:
