wor kmanship and agrees to repair or replace
under this war ranty any defective gasoline
product or attachment as follows from the
original date of purchase.
1 YEAR -- Parts and Labor, when used for
household pur poses.
60 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, w hen used for
commercial, professional, or income pr oducing
purposes.
30 DAYS -- Parts and Labor, if used for r ental
purposes.
This war r anty is not transferable and does not
cover damage or liability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenance, or the use of
accessories and/or attachments not specifically
recommended by ELECTROLU X HO ME
PRODUCTS, INC., for this tool. Additionally ,
this w ar r anty does not cover tune--ups, spark
plugs, f ilters, st ar ter r opes, starter spr ings,
cutting l ine, or rotating head parts that w ill wear
and requir e r eplacement w ith r easonable use
during the warr anty period. This w ar ranty does
not cover predelivery setup or normal
adjustmentsexplainedin the instructionmanual.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC
LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE
OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM
STATE TO STATE.

YOUR W ARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGA-
TIONS: The U. S. Environmental Protection
Agency, Environment Canada and ELEC-
TROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., are
pleased to explain theemissions control system
warr anty on your year 2002--2004 small off--
road engine. ELECTR O LU X H O M E PRO D-
UC TS, INC., m ust warr ant the emission control
systemon yoursmalloff--road engine for the pe-
riods of time listed below pr ovided there has
been no abuse, neglect, or improper m ainte-
nance of y oursmall off--roadengine. Your emis-
sion control system includes par ts such as the
carburetor and the ignition system. Where a
war rantable condition exists, ELECTRO LU X
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., will repair yoursmall
off--road engine at no cost to you. Expenses
covered under warranty include diagnosis,
parts and labor. MANUFACTURER’S W AR-
RANTY COVERAGE: If any emissions related
part o n your engine (as listed under Emissions
ControlWarrantyParts List)is defectiveor ade-
fect in the m aterials or w or kmanship of the en-
gine causes the failure of such an emission re-
lated part, the part will be repaired or replaced
by ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC.
OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPON SIBILI-
TIES: As the small off--road engine ow ner, you
are responsible for the performance of the re-
quired m aintenance listed in your instruction
manual. ELECTROLU X HOM E PRODUCTS,
INC., recommends that you retain all receipts
covering maintenance on y our small of f--road
engine, but ELECTR OLUX HO ME PR OD-
UC TS, INC., cannot deny warranty solely for
the lack of r eceipts or for your failure to ensure
the performance of all scheduled maintenance.
As the s mall off--road engine ow ner, you should
be aware that ELECTR OLU X HO ME PROD-
UC TS, INC., may deny you war ranty coverage
if your small off--road engine or a par t of it has
failed due to abuse, neglect, improper mainte-
nance, unapproved modifications, or the use of
parts not made or approved by the or iginal
equipment manufacturer. You are r esponsible
for p r esenting y our small of f--road engine to an
ELECTROLUX HOM E PRODUCTS, INC., au-
thorized r epair center as soon as a problemex-
ists. Warr anty repairs should be completed in a
reasonable amount of time, not to exceed 30
days. If you have any questions r egar ding your
war r anty rights and r es ponsibilities, you should
contact your nearest author ized ser vice center
or call ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS,

COMMENCEMENT DATE: The war r anty peri-
od begins on the date the small off--road engine
is purchased. LENGTH OF COVERAGE:This
war ranty shall be for a period of two years from
the initial date of purchase. WH AT IS C O V-
ERED: R EPAIR OR R EPLAC EMEN T OF
P ARTS. Repair or replacement of any w ar-
ranted part will be performed at no charge tothe
owner at an approved ELECTRO LU X HOME
PRODUCTS, INC., servicing center . If you
have any questions regarding your warr anty
rights and respons ibilities, you should contact
your nearest authorized service center or call
