under this warranty any defective gasoline
product or attachment as follows from the
original date of purchase.

-- Parts and Labor, when used for
commercial, professional, or income produc-
ing purposes.
30 DAYS
-- Parts and Labor, if used for rental
purposes.
This warranty isnot transferable and does not
cover damage or liability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenance, or the use
of accessories and/or attachments not spe-
cifically recommended by
ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
for this tool. Addi-
tionally, this warranty does not cover tune-
ups, spark plugs, filters, cutting line, or rotat-
ing head parts that will wear and require
replacement with reasonable use during the
warranty period. This warranty does not cov-
er predelivery setup or normal adjustments
explained in the instruction manual.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGA-
TIONS:
The U. S. E nvir onmental Protection
Agency and POULAN /WEED EATER, DIVI-
SION OF WCI OUTDOOR PRODUCTS, INC.,
are p leased to explain the emissions contr ol
system w ar rantyon youryear 2001--2004 small
off--road engine. POULAN /WEED E ATE R
must warr ant t he emission cont rol system on
your small off--road engine for the periods of
time listed below provided ther e has been no
abuse, negl ect, or impr oper maintenance of
your small off--road engine. Your em ission con-
trol system includes parts such as the carbure-
tor and the ignition system. Where a warrant-
able condition exists, POU LAN /WEED EATER
will r epair your small off--road engine at no cost
to you. Expenses covered under w ar r anty in-
clude diagnosis, parts and labor.
MANUFAC-
TURER’S WARRANTY COVERAGE:
If any
emissions related part on your engine (as listed
under Emissions C ontrol W ar r anty Par ts List) is
defective or a defect in the materials or work-
manshipof theenginecauses thefailure ofsuch
anemission relatedpart, thepartwill berepaired
or r eplaced by POULAN/WEED EATER .
OWNER’S WARRANTY R ESPONSIB ILI-
TIES:
As the small of f--road engine owner, you
are responsible for the perfor mance of the re-
quired maintenance listed in your i nstruction
manual. POULAN/WEED EATER recom-
mends that you r etain all r eceipts cover ing
maintenance on your small off--road engine, but
POULAN /WEED EATER cannot deny w ar r an-
ty solelyforthe lac kof rec e iptsorforyourfailur e
to ensure the per formance of all scheduled
maintenance. As the s m all of f--road engi ne
owner, you should be aware that POU LAN/
WEED EA TER m ay deny you warr anty cover-
age if your small off--road engine or a part of it
hasfailed dueto abuse,neglect, impropermain-
tenance, unapproved modifications, or the use
of parts not made or approved by t he original
equipment manufacturer. You are responsible
for presenting your small of f--road engine to a
POULAN /WEED EATER authorized repair
center as soon as a problem exists. War r anty
repairs should be completed in a reasonable
amount of time, not to exceed 30 days. If you
