WEED EA TER, a division of Husq varna C on-
sumer Outdoor Products N .A., I nc., warrants to
the o riginal consumer purchaser that each new
WEED EA TER brand gasol ine tool or attach -
ment is free from de fects in material a nd work-
manship and agrees to repair or replace under
this warr anty any defect ive gasoline product or
attach ment as fo llows from the origi nal date of
purcha se.
2YEARS--Parts and Labor, whe n used for
household purpose s.
90 DAYS -- Part s and Labor, when used for
commercial, p rofessional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Part s and Labor, if use d for r ental
purposes.
This warranty isnot transferableand doesnot
cover damage or liability caused by impr ope r
handling, impropermaintenanceor alt eration,
or theuseof accessories and/or attachments
not specifically recommended by WEED
EATER for this tool. This warranty does not
cover tune--up, spark plugs, filters, st arter
ropes, or blower and vacuum tubes that will
wear and require replacement with reason-
ableuseduring thewarranty per iod.This war-
ranty does not co ver pre--delivery setup or
normal adjustments explained in the instruc -
tion manual. This warranty does not cover
transportation c osts.
In the event you have aclaimunder this warran-
ty, you must return the p roduct to an authorized
service dealer .

EATER are pleased to expla in the emissions
contr ol system warrant y on your year 20 10 and
later smal l of f--road engine. In Ca lifornia, all
small of f--road engines m ust be designe d, built ,
ande qui pp edtomee tth eStat e’s stringentanti--
smog standards. WEED EATER must war-
rant the emission control system on your
small off--road engine for t he periods of time
listed below provided there has been no
abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance of
your small off--road engine. Your emi s sion
contr ol syst em includes part s su ch as the car-
buretor, the igniti on system and th e fuel tank.
Where awarrantable condition exists,WEED
EA TER will repair your small off--road engine
at no cost to you. Expenses co vered under
warranty include diagnosis, parts and labor.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY COV-
ERAGE:If anyemissions relatedpart onyour
engine (as listed under Emissions Con tr ol
Warranty Parts List) is defect ive or a defect in
the m aterials or workmanship o f the engin e
causes the failure of such a n emiss ion rela ted
part, the part will be repaired or replaced by
WEED EAT ER. OWNER’SWARRANTYRE-
SPONSIBILITIES: As the small off--r oad en-
gine owner, you are responsible for the per-
formance of the required maintenance listed
in your instruction manual. WEED EATER
recommends that you retain all receipts cov-
ering maintenance on your small off--roaden-
gine, butWEED EATER cannotdeny warran-
ty solely forthe lack o frec eipts or for your f ail-
ure to ensur e the performance of all sc hed-
uled maintenance. As the small off--road en-
gine owner, you should beaware that WEED
EA TER may deny you warranty coverage if
your small off--road engine or a part of it has
