2. Avoid dropping or rough handling.
3. Be careful not to damage the plastic lens.
4. The solar yard alarm siren is very loud, never put the
unit close to your ear.
5. This unit should be directed away from extreme heat
sources.
6. If the unit goes off at random, it is possibly located
too close to a heat source, or located too close to
normal wanted activity. Changing the location or
direction of the unit may fix this problem.
7. This unit can provide valuable protection for your home
or property if used properly. However, this unit cannot
guarantee complete protection against pool area entry
or burglary. Therefore, TECHKO will not be held
responsible for any loss or damages which could occur.

INSTALLATION
Protect your yard and other important surrounding
areas with the TECHKO Solar Yard Alarm & Garden
light! Simply piece together and place firmly into the
ground next to the desired area of protection. Let it

This unit can be placed in your yard, garden, pool area,
or other areas in need of protection, while adding a
decorative touch.

The area of coverage provided by the unit is

approximately 90 degrees vertically and 110 degrees
horizontally with a range of approximately 23 feet
from the unit. (Fig. 4)
For best coverage, this unit should be placed in a
corner location to cover 7 meters (23 feet) outward.

Before using, remove the plastic pull tab by
pulling it down and out of its position. This
allows the internal batteries to now connect
to solar power. (Fig.2)
When choosing the desired area of protection, make
sure the area is wide open and that it is not placed
behind bushes, hanging branches or similar moving
shrub. This may cause confusion to the unit and set
off false alarms.

Battery cover
Open solar panel and unscrew the battery
cover (4 screws), and insert battery plug into
connector. Replace cover and screws.
