Units produced after the above serial number have a washer / spacer (see item
#26) between the starter pawl cup and the crankshaft. This spacer ensures good
engagement of the starter pawls and prevents premature wear.
When servicing a unit that has experienced a failure of any starter components,
be sure to add the washer to take up this space.
