Banjo Gearbox
The gearbox should not require additional lubricant
unless the box is cracked or a seal is leaking. It is
recommended that the check plug be removed after
every 8 to 10 hours of operation and oil added until
it shows proper level.
Use Rhino Multi-Purpose gear oil, P/N 00786250.
Driveline
The Driveline should be inspected each morning before the mower is started.
Cross & bearings are located at each end of driveline.
Telescoping tube sitting is accessible by rotating driveline shield tubes until hole in shield exposes grease
fitting.
Lubricate all fittings with a good quality Lithium Soap compatible E.P. grease meeting the NLGI #2
specifications and containing no more than 1%.
Check the cross & bearing kits for wear by rotating tractor yoke back and forth while implement yoke is
attached to mower. If there is noticeable movement in driveline, replace the cross & bearing kit before it causes
damage to driveline.
