Cutter Knives
Cutter knives are attached to the cutter shaft with hardened pin and cotter pins. These pins are supplied with
the knife kit. To remove existing knives, remove and discard these pins and install new knives using new pins.
Knife pins must be installed in certain direction to locate cotter pins where knives will not reach them when
flexing backward. After installing cotter pins, bend extended prong at 45 degree angle.
FOR FORWARD ROTATION: Knife pins must be installed with their heads facing away from the cuttershaft
pulley.
FOR REVERSE ROTATION: Knife pins must be installed with their heads facing toward the cuttershaft pulley.
