workmanship and agreesto repair or replace
under this warranty any defective gasoline
product or attachment as follows from the
original date of purchase.

-- Parts and Labor, when used for
household purposes.
90 DAYS
-- Parts and Labor, when used for
commercial, professional, or income produc-
ing purposes.
30 DAYS
-- Parts and Labor, if used for rental
purposes.
This warrantyis nottransferableanddoesnot
cover damageor liability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenance, or the use
of accessories and/or attachments not spe-
cifically recommended by
ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS,INC.,
for t his tool. Addi-
tionally, this warranty does not cover tune-
ups, spark plugs, filters, cutting line, or rotat-
ing head parts that will wear and require
replacement with reasonable use during the
warranty period. This warrantydoes not cov-
er predelivery setup or normal adjustments
explained in the instruction manual.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC

2002--2004 small off--road engine. In California,
all small of f--road engines must be designed,
built, and equipped to meet the State’s stringent
anti--smog standards. ELECTROLUX HOME
PRODU CTS, INC., must warra n t the emissio n
control system onyour small off--road en ginefor
the periods of time listed below provided there
has been no abuse, neglect, or improper main-
tenance of your small of f--road engin e. Y our
emission control system includes parts such as
the carburetor and the ig nition system. Where a
warrantable condition exists, ELECTROLUX
HOMEPRODUCTS,INC.,will rep a ir you rsma ll
of f--road eng ine engine at no cost to you. Ex-
penses covered underwarranty includediagno-
sis, parts and labor .

If any emissions
related part on your engine (as listed under
Emissions Cont rol Wa rranty Pa rts L ist) is defe c-
tive or a defect in the materials or workmanship
oftheenginecauses thefailure ofsuch anemis-
sion related part, the part will be repaired or re-
placed by ELECTROLUX HOME PROD-
UCT S, I NC.
OWNER’S WAR RANT Y
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As thesmall off--roaden-
gine engine owner , you are responsible for the
performance of the required maintenan ce listed
in your instruction manual. ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., recommends that
you retain all receipts covering maintena nce on
your small off--road engine, but ELECTROLUX
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., cannot deny war-
ranty solely for the lack of receipts or fo r your
failure to ensure the performance of all sched-
uled maintenance. As the small off--road en-
gine engine owner , you should be a ware that
EL ECTR OLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC. ,
may deny you warranty coverage if your small
of f--road engine engine or a part o f it has failed
due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance,
unap proved modifications, or the u se of parts
not made or approved by the original equipment
manufacturer . Y o u are responsible for prese nt-

pair center as soon as a problem exists.
