LIMITED WARRANTY
Poulan PRO warrants to the original pur-
chaser that each new Poulan PRO brand
gasoline chain saw i s free from defects in
materialand workmanshipandagrees tore-
pair or replace under this warranty any de-
fective gasoline chain saw as follows from
the original date of purchase.
2 YEARS -- Parts andLabor,whenusedfor
Household purposes.
60 DAYS -- Parts and Labor , when used for
Commercial, Professional, or Income Pro-
ducing purposes.
30DAYS-- PartsandLabor,i fusedf orrental
purposes.
This warranty is not transferable and does
not cover damage or liability caused by im-
proper handling, improper maintenance, or
the use of accessories and/or attachments
not specifically recommended by Poulan
PRO for this chain saw. Additionally, this
warranty does notcoverdamagecausedby
improper handling, improper maintenance,
orifthesawisalteredinanywaywhichinour
judgement affects its condition or operation.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcovertune--up,spark
plugs, f ilters, starter ropes, starter springs,
chain sharpening, bars, chains, and other
parts which wear and require replacement
with reasonable use duringthe warranty pe-
riod. This warranty does not cover predeliv-
ery set--up, installation of guide bar and
chain, and n ormal adjustments explained in
the instruction manual such as carburetor
adjustmentsandchaintensionadjustments.
This warranty does not cover transportation
costs.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC
LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE
OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM
STATE TO STATE.
NO CLAIMS FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR
OTHER DAMAGES WILL BE ALLOWED,

PRO are pleased to explain the emissions
control system warranty on your year 2007
andlater smalloff--roadengine.InCalifornia,all
small of f--roadengines must bedesigned,built,
and equipped to meet the State’s stringent
anti--smog standards. Poulan PRO must war-
rant the emission control system on your
small off--roadengine for the periods of time
listed below provided there has been no
abuse, neglect, or improper maintenanceof
your small off--road engine. Your em ission
control system includes parts suchas the car-
buretor, t he i gnition s ystem and the fuel tank
(Cali fornia onl y ). Wherea warrantablecondi-
tionexists,PoulanPROwillrepairyoursmall
off--roadengineengineatnocosttoyou.Ex-
penses covered under warranty include
diagnosis,partsandlabo r. MANUFACTUR-
ER’S WARRANTY COVERAGE: If any
emissions related part on your engine (as
listed under Emissions Control Warranty
Parts List) is defective ora defectin thema-
terials orworkmanship oftheenginecauses
the failure of such an emission related part,
the part willbe repaired orreplaced by Pou-
lan PRO. OWNER’S WARRANTY RE-
SPONSIBILITIES:Asthesmallof f--roaden-
gine engine owner, you are responsible for
the performance of the required mainte-
nancelistedinyourinstructionmanual.Pou-
lan PRO recommends that youretain all re-
ceipts covering maintenance on your small
off--road engine, but Poulan PRO cannot
deny warranty solely for the lack ofreceipts
orfor your failuretoensure theperformance
of all scheduled maintenance. As the small
off--roadengineengineowner,youshouldbe
aware that Poulan PRO may deny you war-
ranty coverage if yoursmall off--road engine
engineor apartof ithas failed dueto abuse,
neglect,impropermaintenance,unapproved
modifications,ortheuseofpartsnotmadeor
approved by the original equipment
manufacturer. You areresponsible forpres-
entingyoursmalloff--roadenginetoaPoulan
PRO authorized repair center as soon as a
problem exists. Warranty repairs should be
completed in a reasonable am ount of time,
nottoexceed30days. Ifyouhaveanyques-

COMMENCEMENT DATE: The warranty
period begins onthedate the small of f--road
engineispurchased. LENGTHOFCOVER-
AGE: This warranty shall be for a period of
two years from the initial date of purchase.
