W ARRANTY PERIOD:
Any
warr anted part which is not scheduled for
replacement as requiredmaintenance, or which
is scheduled onl y for regular inspection to the
effect of “r epair o r replace as necessary” shall
be war r anted f or 2 year s. Any w ar r anted part
which is scheduled for replacement as required
maintenanceshall bewarr anted forthe periodof
time up to the first scheduled replacement point
for that part.
DIAGNOSIS:
The ow ner shall not
be charged for diagnostic labor w hich leads to
the determ ination t hat a warr anted part is
defective if the diagnostic wor k is performed at
an approved PO ULAN/WEED EATER
servicing center.
CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES:
POULAN/WEED EA TER may be
liable for damages to other engine com ponents
caused by the failure of a war r anted par t still
under warranty.
WH AT IS NOT COVERED
:All
failures c aused by abuse, neglect, or improper
maintenance are not covered.
ADD--ON OR
MODIFIED PARTS:
The use of add--on or
modified parts can be gr ounds for disallowing a
warr an ty claim. POUL AN/WEEDEA TERis not
liable to cover failures o f w ar ranted parts
caused by the use of add--on or m odified par ts.

POULAN/WEED EATER approved
replacement part used in the performance of
any w ar r anty maintenance or repair on
emission related parts will be provided without
chargeto the owner ifthe partis underwarranty.

MAINTENANCE STATEMENT:
The o w ner is
responsible for the per form ance of all required
maintenance as defined in the ow ner’ s manual.
This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
Moderate (50 hours)
Intermediate (125 hours)
Extended (300 hours)
