SHOULDER STRAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Hold the unit a s shown with the muffler side
facing away from your body and clothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap over your head
and onto your right s houlder.
3. Extend your left arm t oward therear ofthe
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. Make sure air flows freely from the elbow
tube into bag. If bagis kinked, the unit will
not operate properly.

THROTTLE LEVER
The THROTTLE LEVER is used toselect the
desired enginespeed and to stop the engine.
Movethethrottleleverto the
positionfor
full speed operation. Move the throttle leve r
tothe
positionforidlespeed. Tostopthe
engine, move the throttle lever to the STOP
position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTTON removes air from t he
carburetor and f uel lines and fills t hem w ith fuel.
Thisallowsyoutostarttheenginewithfewer
pulls on th e starter ro pe. Activate p rimer button
by pressing it a nd a llo wing it t o returnto its origi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHOKE helps to supply fuel to the e ngine
toaidincoldstarting.Activatethechokeby
moving the choke lever to t he FULL CHOKE
position. Afterengineattempts tostart, movethe
choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position.
Once engine starts, move choke lever to the
RUN positi o n.
