FUEL SYSTEM
Under FUELING ENGINE in the OPERA-
TIONsectionofthis manual,seemessagela-
beled IMPORTANT regarding the u se of ga-
sohol in your engine.
Fuel stabilizer is an acceptable altern ative i n
minimizing the f ormation of fuel gum de posits
d ur ing stora ge. Addstab ilizer togasoline infuel
tank o r fuel storage container . Follow the mix
in str u ction s fou nd on sta bilizer con t aine r. Run
e ngin ea tleast5 minut es aft er a ddin gst abilizer.
ENGINE

Remove sparkplugandpour1teaspoonof
40:1,2-cycleengineoil (air cooled)through
the spark plug opening. Slowly pull the
starter rope 8 to 10 times to distribute o il.
S
Replacesparkplugwith newone ofrecom-
mended type and heat range.
S
Clean air f ilter.
S
Check entire unit for loose screws, nuts,
and bolts. Replace any damaged, broken,
or worn parts.
S
At the beginning of the next season, use
onlyfreshfuelhavingthepropergasolineto
oil ratio.
OTHER

Do not store gasoline from one season to
another.

Replaceyourgasolinecanifitstartstorust.
TROUBLE
