cifically recommended by

HOME PRODUCTS, INC.,
for this tool. Addi-
tionally, this warranty does not cover tune-
ups, spark plugs, filters, cutting line, or rotat-
ing head parts that will wear and require
replacement with reasonable use during the
warranty period. This warranty does not cov-
er predelivery setup or normal adjustments
explained i n the instruction manual.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGA-
TIONS:
The U. S. Environm ental Protection
Agency and ELECTR O LU X HOME PROD-
UC TS, INC., are pleased to explain the emis-
sions control system war r anty on your year
2002--2004 sm all off--road engine. ELECTRO-
LUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., must warrant
the emission control system on your small off--
road engine for the periods of time listed below
provided there has been no abuse, neglect, or
improper m aintenance of your small off--road
engine. Your emission control system includes
parts such as t he car buretor and the ignition
system. Wher e a warrantable condition exists,
ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, INC., will
repair your small off--road engine at no cost to
you. Expenses covered underwarranty include
diagnosis, parts and labor.

If any emis-
sions related part on your engine (as listed un-
der Emissions Control Warranty Parts List) is
defective or a defect in the materials or work-
manshipoftheenginecausesthefailureof such

or r eplaced by ELECTRO LU X HOM E PRO D-
UCTS, INC.
OWNER’S WARRANTY RE-
SPONSIBILITIES:
As the small off--road en-
gine owner, you ar e responsible for the
performance o f the required maintenance listed
in your instruction manual. ELECTROLU X
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., recommends that
you retain all receipts cover ing maintenance on
your small off--road engine, but ELECTROLU X
HOME PRODUCTS, INC., cannot deny w ar-
ranty solely for the lack of receipts or for your
failure to ensure the per formance of all sched-
uled maintenance. As the sm all off--road en-
gine owner, y ou should be aware that ELEC-
TROLUXHOME PRODUCTS, INC., maydeny
you warr anty coverage if your small o f f--road
engine orapart o fithas failed dueto abuse,ne-
glect, impropermaintenance, unapprovedmod-
ifications, or the use of parts not made or ap-
proved by the original equipment manufacturer.
You are responsible for pr esenting your small
off--road engi ne to an ELECTR O LU X HOME
PRODUCTS, INC., authorized repair center as
soon as a problem exists. Warr anty repairs
should be completed in areasonable amountof
time, not to exceed 30 days. If you have any

sponsibilities, you should contact your nearest
