4. Align thetabs ontheinside ofthe vacuumin-
let with the slots on the upper vacuum tube.

5. Push t he uppe rvacuum tubeinto the vac-
uum inlet. Turn the tubecounterclockwise
until a click is f elt to secure the tube tothe
blower unit.
6. Alignslantedend o flower vacuum tubeas
shown. Push lower vacuum tube into upper
vacuum tube until the lower tube is securely
seated in the upper tube (about 7 cm).

7. When vacuum tubes are fitted together ,
locate the label on the lower portion of the
upper tu be . Permanently assemble the two
tubes together with the supplied screw.

HOW TO CONVERT UNIT FROM
VACUUM USE TO BLOWER USE
1. Remove the elbow tube and vacuum bag
by turning the knob counterclockwise to
loosen the elbow tube.
2. Remove the vacuum tubes by turning the
tubes clockwise.
3. Close the vacuum inlet cover and make
sure it is latched closed.
4. Reinstall the blower tubes (see BLOWER
TUBE ASSEMBLY).
SHOULDER STRAP A DJUSTMENT
1. Hold the unit as shown with the muffler side
facing away from your body and clothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap over your head
and onto your right shoulder.
3. Extend your leftarm toward therear ofthe
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. M ake sure air flows freely from the elbow
tube intobag. If bag is kinked, the unitwill
not operate properly .
