PRECAUTIONS
This product is engineered to give you years of
satisfactory service if you handle it carefully. Here
are a few precautions:
• Placement of this product on wood surfaces with
certain types of finishes, such as clear varnish,
may result in damage to the finish. Consult the
furniture manufacturer’s care instructions
for direction as to the types of objects that may
safely be placed on the wood surface.
Oregon Scientific shall not be responsible for
any damage to wood surfaces from contact with
this product.
• Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid
over it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive
materials.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock,
dust, temperature or humidity, which may result
in malfunction, shorter electronic life span,
damaged battery and distorted parts.
TITLE, QUITE ENJOYMENT, NO ENCUMBRANCES, NO
LIENS AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, (2) WARRANTIES
ARISING THROUGH COURSE OF DEALING OR
USAGE OF TRADE, AND (3) WARRANTIES THAT
ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE
UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. THERE ARE NO
WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE OF
THIS AGREEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY OF THE OSI PARTIES
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL,
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
ARISING OUT OF, BASED ON, OR RESULTING
FROM THIS AGGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE
SERVICE, EVEN IF ANY OF THE OSI PARTIES HAS
BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES. THE EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES UNDER
THIS SECTION IS INDEPENDENT OF ANY OTHER
REMEDY AND SURVIVES IN THE EVENT ANY SUCH
REMEDT FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR
IS OTHERWISE DEEMED UNENFORCEABLE. THE
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS INTHIS SECTION
APPLY WITHOUT REGARD TO WHETHER THE
DAMAGES ARISE FROM (1) BREACH OF CONTRACT,
(2) BREACH OF WARRANTY, (3) NEGLIGENCE,
MISREPRESENTATION OR OTHER TORT, (4)
PRODUCTS LIABILITY, OR (5) ANY OTHER CAUSE
OF ACTION TO THE EXTENT NOTPROHIBITED BY
APPLICABLE LAW.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
The OSI parties may change the service or delete
features in any way, at any time and for any reason.
OSI may terminate or suspend the Service at any
time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
Upon termination of the Service, your right to use the
Service will immediately cease, and OSI will have no
obligation to provide the Service to you.
