Storage
Engine to be stored over 30 days should be completely
drained of fuel (gasoline) to prevent gum deposits
forming on essential carburetor parts and fuel system.
• Remove the spark plug cap from spark plug to
prevent accidental starting the engine.
• Empty the fuel from the fuel tank with a pump or
siphon.
• Fit the plug cap on the spark plug securely
• Start and run the engine at idle speed to used up
the fuel in the fuel system.
• Remove the spark plug and pour approx. 1-2 mL
(0.06-0.1 cu.in) of new engine oil through the plug
hole (A), slowly pull the recoil starter grip several
times and reinstall the spark plug.
