H OW TO GET M OWI NG
Your Mounteld lawnmower does not contain petrol or oil and these must be added before use. R unnin g
the mower with insucient oil can cause serious damage to the engine and will invalidate your
warrant y.

To access the underside of the machine lift the front wheels by lowering the handle to the ground.
Ca refully remove t he mower from the cart on and read these O perating Instruct ions. An O wner’s M anua l
for the engine is also included, please read this before starting the engine.
HANDL E ASSE MBLY
• Raise the handles to the upright positon. With the xing bolts in place tighten the hand wheels and check the
pivot bolts are also tight (Figure 1).
• E ngage the Operator P resence Control (OP C) lever to relea se the engine brake. P ull the starter cord and t it into
the cord guide as shown.
• Use the cable ties to t the OPC cable (and clutch cable if tted) to the handle assembly. Take care that the
cables will not impair removal of the grass collector.
GR ASS CO LL EC TO R
• Remove the plate and washers from the top of the grass collector and clip the plate in place behind the handle.
• Turn the top upside down and t the frame to it using screws and the washers which were on the plate.
• Fit the cloth base by fastening the plastic bars onto the frame, it may help to use a screwdriver as shown in the
drawing to do this. Then click the edge into the groove in the top starting 5-7mm from an end (Figure2).
• To t the grass collector onto the mower, lift the rear safety deector ap
and hook the collector onto the pegs.
BATT ERY CARE (SP536ES Only)
• Before initial use charge the battery for 24 hours using the battery charger supplied with the mower and then leave
it to rest for 12 hours.
• Recharge the battery once a month during the cutting season, more frequently if the mower is in heavy use.
• Disconnect the battery if the mower is not in regular use.
