Removing

installing blade
Seriously damaged blades
or
blades
that
have been sharpened numerous times
should be replaced. Replacement
is
accom-
plished by loosening the screws and remov-
ing the blades.
When installing the new blades rotate the
I
gear
so
that
its
ring
is
positioned in the
Gear
blade guide hole. With the blades held in
this position, replace the screws and tighten
them securely.
CAUTION
:
Do
not remove the grease on the gears or gear housing when replacing the blades.
To
maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, any other maintenance of
adjustment should be performed by Makita Authorized
or
Factory Service Centers,
always
using Makita replacement parts.
