Switch
operation
The switch has
a
special lock-off lever to
prevent accidental operation or tampering.
When the lever
is
pressed in the arrow direc-
tion
(see
photo
at
right), the trigger can be
pulled to put the trimmer
ON;
simply
release the trigger to switch
OFF.
The lock-
off lever automatically returns to keep the
trimmer
OFF.
CAUTION
:
Before inserting the battery cartridge, check to be sure that the released trigger switch has
come out (spring return).
For better trimming
1)
Branches and foliage of over
8
mm
(5/16”)
should first be cut with shears
down
to
the hedge trimming
level.
