DESCRIPTION
SunLight charges in the sun to provide
hours of LED-based task or area lighting.
The light contains built-in rechargeable
batteries that never need replacing and
LEDs that provide 100,000 hours of light.
The SunLight battery charges in direct
sunlight. The single function button turns
the light ON or OFF. The light can be
handheld for task or focused lighting,
or placed in its storage base for area
lighting.
Perfect for any room in the home, SunLight

Charging SunLight
• Removetheprotectiveplasticfromthe
solar panel before use.
• Beforefirstuse,fullychargethe
SunLight battery.
• Tocharge,placeSunLightinitsbase
in a south-facing location that receives
ample sunlight throughout the day.
Ensure the solar panel is facing the
sun. If SunLight is behind a window,
charge times depend on whether the
window is double pane, UV coated, or
otherwise reduces sunlight.
• IfSunLightisleftonandthebattery
drains completely, the light will
automatically turn off. To recharge,
set SunLight in direct sunlight. When
the battery has received enough
charge to power the LEDs, SunLight
can be turned back on. A full charge
may require up to 16 hours in direct
sunlight.
Using SunLight
• SunLightcanbeusedasahandheld
flashlight or as an area light.
• Forhandhelduse,simplyremove
SunLight from its base and use the
button for ON or OFF functionality.
• Forambientarealighting,place
SunLight in its base and turn it on.
Lighting amount will vary depending on
the surface where the light is placed.
A light colored surface provides more
reflection and more light while dark
surfaces provide less reflection and less
light.
