Installation
During rough-in, install two 1/2” female threaded
fittings, recessed 3/16” behind the surface of the
finished wall. The fittings should be 6 3/4” apart on
center.
Flush the hot and cold supplies thoroughly.
Wrap the threads on the offset adapters with
Teflon
TM
thread tape. Screw the adapers into the
female fittings. The adapters should extend 1
7/16” - 1 5/8” outside the surface of the finished
wall.
Adjust the offset adapters so that the distance
between the centers is 6 3/4”, and they are level.
Seal the wall around the adapters with water-
proof bathroom sealant.
