1. To fit the extension cord to
the support, make a tight
loop in the extension cord,
approximately 300mm from
the socket on the
extension cord.
2. Fit the loop into the cord
support (6)located on the
power cord of the blower/vac.
3. Push the loop all the way
through the cord support (6)
by approximately 25mm.
Selecting the blowing operation
1. Move the selector lever (2)
down. You will hear a loud
click as it goes into place.
Note. When the blow operation
is selected, air is drawn up
through the large blow/vac tube
and then expelled at a much
higher velocity in the lower cavity
below the blow/vac tube.
IMPORTANT. Ensure when the blow operation is selected
the blower/vac is pointed, directed and used in a safe
manner. Do not direct the air flow from this blower vac
directly or indirectly towards another person.
Selecting the vacuum operation
1. Push the selector lever (2) up.
You will hear a loud click as it
goes into place.
Note. When the vacuum
operation is selected, air and
debris are drawn up through
the large vac tube, and forced
through the metal mulching
impeller. The debris is mulched
and then blown down into the collection bag.
IMPORTANT. Always ensure the collection bag is correctly
attached as per the “Fitting the collection bag” section in
this manual.
Important notes when using the blower/
vacuum selector lever
Do not force the lever. The lever should move with very little
resistance. If the lever is difficult to move, disconnect the
power supply, remove the collection bag and ensure debris,
dirt or mud has not jammed the lever.
When selecting either of the operations, ensure the selector
lever is fully in one position or the other, not half way.
To empty the collection bag
It is not necessary to remove the collection bag from the
blower vac when the bag needs to be emptied.
The rear of the bag is fitted with a full length zip.
Simply open the zip and empty the contents.
Ensure to close the zip prior to operating the blower vac.
