APPLICATION INFORMATION
DuPont™ VELPAR® DF is recommended for general weed
and brush control as follows: uncultivated nonagricultural areas
(such as, airports, highway, railroad and utility right-of way,
sewage disposal areas); uncultivated agricultural areas (non-crop
producing, which includes: farmyards, fuel storage areas, fence
rows, barrier strips); industrial sites (outdoor, such as,
lumberyards, pipeline and tank farms).
VELPAR® DF is recommended for control of many annual,
biennial, and perennial weeds in noncrop, industrial sites.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Apply VELPAR® DF as a preemergence or postemergence
spray when weeds are actively germinating or growing.
WEEDS CONTROLLED - USE RATE
VELPAR® DF effectively controls the following weeds when
applied at the use rates shown in industrial sites. When applied
at lower rates, VELPAR® DF provides short-term control of the
weeds listed; when applied at higher rates, weed control is
increased and extended.
Use lower rate on coarse-textured soils (sand to sandy
loam). Use the higher rate on fine-textured soils(clay loam
to clay) and on soils high in organic matter.
