TROUBLESHOOTING

1. ENGINE WON'T TURN OVER
Mower blades engaged

2. ENGINE WILL TURN OVER BUT WON'T START
No gas
Over or under choked
Spark plug not firing
Carburetor maladjustment
Ignition Switch
3. HARD TO START ENGINE
Fuel line clogged
Faulty fuel pump
Spark plug wire loose or grounded
Spark plug(s) faulty or improperly gapped
Electronic ignition defective
Dirty or maladjusted carburetor
4. ENGINE STARTS BUT CUTS OUT
Water in gasoline
Clogged fuel line
Vent in fuel cap plugged
Faulty fuel pump
Maladjusted carburetor
Engine dies when control levers are moved "IN"
5. ENGINE KNOCKS
Low oil level
Ignition timing off
Fuel octane too low
Over heated engine
