IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Operating the engine with loose or damaged
air cleaner components could allow unltered
air into the engine causing premature wear
and failure.

Remove precleaner
Carefully lift out the precleaner from the fan 4.
housing. Clean the fan housing so debris does
not fall into the carburetor.
Install a new precleaner and the new or 5.
cleaned air lter element into the fan housing.
Align the tabs on the cover with the slots in the 6.
housing and replace air lter cover.

Close the cover
Pull the handle outwards. Secure the handle in 7.
the air lter cover and press inwards to close.
