For two (2)years from the date of purchase,if this CraftsmanRiding Equipmentis
maintained,lubricatedand tuned up accordingto the instructionsin the owner'smanual,
Sears will repairor replacefree of charge any parts that are foundto be defectivein
materialor workmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelisted below.Sears
will also providefree laborfor these applicablewarrantedparts for the twofull years.
During the first30 daysof purchase,therewill be no chargesto servicethe product
at your homefor issuescoveredbythis warranty.(Seeexclusionsbelow). Foryour
convenience, IN HOMEwarrantyservice will still be availableafter the first 30days
of purchase,but a trip chargewill apply.This chargewill be waivedif the Craftsman
productis droppedoffat an authorizedSears location.Forthe nearestauthorizedSears
location,pleasecall 1-800-4-MY-HOME@.This warrantyappliesonly whilethis product
is withinthe UnitedStates.
ThisWarrantydoesnot cover:
Expendableitemswhich becomewornduring normaluse,includingbut not limitedto
blades,spark plugs,aircleaners,belts,and oil filters.
StandardMaintenanceServicing,oil changes, or tune-ups
Tire replacementor repaircaused by puncturesfromoutsideobjects,suchas nails,
thorns,stumps,or glass.
Repairsnecessarybecauseofoperatorabuse,includingbut not limitedto, damage
caused bytowingobjects beyondthe capabilityof the ridingequipment,impacting
objectsthat bendthe frame or crankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
Repairsnecessarybecauseofoperatornegligence,includingbutnot limitedto, elec-
trical andmechanicaldamagecaused byimproperstorage,failureto usethe proper
gradeand amountof engineoil, failureto keepthe deckclear of flammabledebris,
orfailureto maintainthe equipmentaccordingto the instructionscontainedin the
owner'smanual.
, Engine(fuelsystem)cleaningor repairscaused byfuel determinedto be contami-
natedor oxidized(stale). In general,fuel should be usedwithin 30days of its pur-
chase date.
• Normaldeteriorationandwear of the exteriorfinishes,or productlabel replacement.
• Ridingequipmentusedfor commercialor rental purposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
For ninety (90)daysfrom dateof purchase,if anybattery includedwith this riding
equipmentprovesdefectivein materialor workmanshipand our testingdeterminesthe
batterywill not holda charge, Searswill replacethe batteryat no charge. Duringthe
first 30days of purchase,therewill be no chargesto replacethe batteryat your HOME.
Afterthe first 30 days,for your convenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservicewill still be avail-
able buta trip chargewill apply. This chargewill be waivedif the Craftsmanproductis
