For two (2) yearsfrom the date of purchase,if this CraftsmanRiding Equipmentis
maintained,lubricatedand tuned up accordingto the instructionsin the owner'smanual,
Sears will repairor replacefree of chargeany parts that are foundto be defectivein
materialor workmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelistedbelow.Sears
will also providefree laborfor these applicablewarrantedpartsfor the twofull years.
During the first 30 days of purchase,there will be no chargesto service the product
at your homefor issuescoveredby this warranty.(See exclusionsbelow). For your
convenience, IN HOMEwarrantyservice will still be availableafterthe first 30 days
of purchase,but a trip chargewill apply.This chargewill be waived if the Craftsman
productis droppedoff at an authorizedSears location.Forthe nearestauthorizedSears
location,pleasecall 1-800-4-MY-HOME®.Thiswarranty appliesonly while this product
is withinthe UnitedStates.
ThisWarrantydoes not cover:
• Expendableitemswhichbecomeworn during normal use,includingbut not limitedto
blades,spark plugs, air cleaners,belts,and oil filters.
• StandardMaintenanceServicing,oil changes, or tune-ups
• Tire replacementor repaircausedby puncturesfrom outsideobjects,such as nails,
thorns,stumps,or glass.
• Repairsnecessarybecause of operatorabuse,includingbut not limitedto, damage
causedbytowingobjects beyondthe capabilityof the riding equipment,impacting
objectsthat bendthe frameor crankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
• Repairsnecessarybecause of operatornegligence,including butnot limitedto, elec-
trical and mechanicaldamagecausedby improperstorage,failureto use the proper
gradeand amountof engine oil, failureto keepthe deck clear of flammabledebris,
or failureto maintainthe equipmentaccordingto the instructionscontainedin the
owner'smanual.
• Engine(fuel system) cleaningor repairscausedby fuel determinedto be contami-
natedor oxidized(stale). In general,fuel should beused within 30 daysof its pur-
chasedate.
• Normaldeteriorationand wear of the exteriorfinishes,or productlabel replacement.
• Ridingequipmentusedfor commercialor rental purposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
For ninety (90) daysfrom date of purchase,if any battery includedwith this riding
equipmentprovesdefectivein materialor workmanshipand our testingdeterminesthe
batterywill not holda charge,Searswill replacethe batteryat no charge. Duringthe
first 30days of purchase,there will be no chargesto replace the batteryat your HOME.
After the first 30 days,for your convenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservice will still be avail-
