INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Beforebeginninginstallation,placethe tractor
on afirmandlevelsurface,setthe parkingbrake,placethe
PTOinthe disengaged(OFF)position,stopthe tractor's
engineand removethe ignitionkeyto preventunintended
starting.
WARNING: Cutting bladesaresharp.Alwaysprotect
handsby wearingheavyleatherworkglovestograsp
blades.
1. Removecuttingdeckfrombeneathtractor(refertoCutting
DeckRemovalinCraftsmanRevolutionZero-TurnRiding
MowerOperator'sManual).
2. Gentlyflipthe deckovertoexposeits underside,
3. Placea blockofwood betweenthedeckhousingbaffleand
thecuttingbladeto actasa stabilizer,thenusea wrench
toremovethehexflangenutthatsecureseachbladeto its
spindleassembly.
IMPORTANT:Thehexflangenutshavearight-handed(normal)thread
pattern.DoNOTattempttoforcethenutsintheoppositedirection.Doing
somaydamagethenut.
4. Replacethebladeswiththe bladesincludedinthe kit. Be
suretoinstalleach bladewiththeside marked"Bottom" (or
witha partnumberstampedin it) facingthegroundwhenthe
mowerisin theoperatingposition.

INSERTING THE MULCH PLUG
1. Liftthe dischargechuteup (A).SeeFigure3.
2. Insertthemulchpluginto thedeckdischargeopeningby
fittingthetab ontherearsideof themulchpluginsidethe
deck(B)and pivotingthemulchplugintoplace(C).
3. Pullandstretchtheretainingstrapon themulchplugover
thedeckwheel bracket(D) onthedeckandhookontothe
bottomof that bracketas seenin theinsetof Figure3.
