Read the operator's msnaaJ(s) before starting and
using unit.
Keep aiJ shieJds and guards in place and secureJy
attached.
Keep hands, feet, face, cJothing and Jonghair out of
Shredder Hopper, Chipper Chute and Discharge
Chute wbge the engine is running. Rotating cutting
bJades inside these openings wiJJcause serious
persanaJ injury if contacted. Material being processed
may bounce back from inJet openings or be thrown
from the discharge chute. Long hair or Jooseclothing
may be puJJedor sucked into the inlet openings.
Do not place branches over 1/2 inch diameter into
the large Shredder Hopper. Branches over 1/2 inch in
diameter shouJd be pJaeed in the SmaJJChipper
Chute.
• if the chipped shredder jams or becomes clogged,
immediately shut off the engine and wait for aJJ
moving parts to come to a compJete stop before
cJearing.
Donot instaJJ,remove, adjust, or service the
discharge screen or any other part whiJe the engine
is running. Blade contact can occur.
