Lubrication
Spring Latch: Lubricatethe latch with light oilonce a
season
Chipper Chute Hinge: Lubricate the hinge with light oil
once a season.
Discharge Chute: Lubricate the pivot points on the
chute deflector with light oil once a season.
Engine: Check engine oil level before each use as
follows:
Remove the dipstick and wipe with a clean cloth.

Replace and tightendipstick.
Remove and check the oilfill level. Add oilif
necessary (Refer to Page 9 for properoiltype).
Air Cleaner
Clean air cleaner's precteaner every 25 hours under
normal conditions.To remove air cleaner, proceed as
follows:
Remove knob and cover. See Figure 14.
