at base.
Plants that Drop Spent Flowers and/or Have
Many Small Flowers
Gypsophila, Lobelia, Melampodium and Nemesia
are some examples of plants that do not need
deadheading.
• Some plants drop their spent flowers and need no
deadheading.

with many small

is tiresome and not
