Before beginning set up of your new unit, you will need to find you altitude or
elevation. This information is needed for the altitude and forecast functions to
operate accurately.
Do this by visiting the national weather service website. For example:

Enter in your zip code and it should give you the altitude or elevation for your local area.

Make sure and write down the altitude for futre reference. Please refer to page 6, “SETTING
THE ALTITUDE AND FORECAST:” in the user manual for further instructions.
