5 There is not a manual that I am aware of. I also own one and in the process of restoring. They are pretty simple and most were either self propelled or not and came with a briggs and straton 5 hp side shaft engine. The deck is a dark green and the Hadley frame was red ( traditionally) . I grew up using these mowers and still see remeninces in old bone yard mower shops. Most of the time the parts are hard to find so you will have to fabricate the yourself. Good luck

4 Your problem in finding this manual (which I'm also looking for) may be that you're confusing Kee with Kees. They were different manufacturing companies. Kees was founded in the 1870's by FD Kees, was owned briefly by Gravely and is now owned by Yazoo/Husqvarna/Ariens. Kee Manufacturing was started in the late 1940's in Bradenton, Fla. where I believe they died an unnatural death at the hands of federal regulators in the 1980's. To be sure which you have, look at the logo in the cast aluminium deck. Kee Manufacturing incorporated a palm tree in the K of Kee. If this is the mower that you are working on, I'm trying to restore one too and am having a hard time finding anything like a manual or IPB.
