Question About Yard-Man Trimmer YM1500
starts, wont run w/out check lever engaged...

After replacing a shorted magneto module, tightening loose screws on butterfly valve & reed valve, it starts pretty easy--if I leave the check lever off, then will rev only if I hold the lever to nearly full on. Clean air filter, new gas, proper mixture, clean spark arrester. Any ideas? Looking for FREE advice, only.

0 The yard man trimmer I bought last summer takes forever to start . I prime it then go through the normal procedure to start by flipping the blue lever to start postion. And then I try starting it . But it takes about 1 hour to start. and sometimes it takes longer. It is new used 6 times.
