I drove on a flat for my riding mower, and now need to remove the back tire to get it fixed. However...... I don't know how to remove the tire. My husband is recently deceased and well.... I'm trying to do this on my own.

0 put a jack under transaxle where shaft comes out to hold it up. be careful not to damage transaxle as they are one of the most expense parts on mower. depending on the size of your unit depends on how to remove the tire. it could be held on by a 1/2" bolt, could have a hub which will be held on by 4 nuts. i can't remember the size because but i think they are 9/16" or 3/4". it has been a while since i worked on the line putting them on but they are not hard to remove and put back on.
