Question About Yard-Man Lawn Mower 12AS569T401
battery replacement...

Just got this mower,used, started great the first couple of times. Now it seems that the battery isn't getting enough charge. Considering just changing the battery. Don't want to tear everything apart if there's an easy way to get to it. Any suggestions?

0 Perhaps, the cables, positive and negative bolts or loose or corroded and the inside of the cable connectors need cleaning with a wire brush. Otherwise you may have a charging system problem. In most cases the starter after it has started the engine it becomes a battery charger, it will need to be replaced. Check cables from battery to starter and ground points. Clean all points with wire brush.
